It’s also the ideal spot for lovers of art and culture, who will appreciate the Musée Albert Dubout. Located in a former fort built in the 18th century, it houses the famous artist’s cartoons.
A haven of peace and tranquillity, Méjean lagoon invites visitors to stroll and be mindful. On trails suitable for all the family, you can observe the many migratory birds, including the famous pink flamingo.

As well as its 9km of unspoilt beaches and its lagoons, the town is surprisingly rich in heritage. Built in the heart of the peninsula, the cathédrale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul is a reminder of the region’s fascinating history. In the Middle Ages, popes and bishops were welcomed here.
When it comes to entertainment, Villeneuve-Lès-Maguelone is not to be outdone. Laser games, a high ropes course and explor’games are on the programme for a family outing to the Rochers de Maguelone.
